From liplocks to sex scenes, stripping down clothes to weird shots of actresses’ assets – all are part of Vishal Pandya’s erotic thriller flick!

16 December, 2016: Wajah Tum Ho is definitely setting the mercury high with its trailer and songs, The makers of Wajah Tum Ho, an erotic thriller, have moved its release date to December 16 in the wake of demonetisation. Its lead actor Gurmeet Choudhary says they will pump up the marketing and promotion for two extra weeks to make the film even more viewer-friendly.

‘Wajah Tum Ho’ is based on a true story of hacking

Today, hacking has become a common crime. Be it credit cards, bank accounts, or social media profiles, hackers are on the prowl everywhere. So, it’s only a reflection of our times that writer-director Vishal Pandya’s thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ revolves around a television channel, which is hacked to telecast a live murder. It features Sana Khaan, Sharman Joshi, Gurmeet Choudhary and Rajniesh Duggall.

“A masked killer live streams murder of a police officer across all channels of a media group. Sharman Joshi plays the cop investigating the matter. Rajniesh Duggal, the media mogul is brought in for questioning and is a suspect. Sana Khan is his company’s legal head. And Gurmeet Chaudhary is the public defender and also Sana’s boyfriend.

Some technical gibberish later it is established that the media group’s network was hacked into. Also established is a mysteriousl connection between the murdered officer and Karan (Goa’s casino king).

Kabir (Sharman) picks up the most obvious clues, and thinks he is Sherlock, while delivering neatly written witty dialogues.

Sia (sana) said “Of course, I know audiences enjoy it but trust me, I find sex scenes tougher than emotional scenes. It is very important to do sex scenes perfectly. Vishal used to hold my hand and say: Sana, please don’t worry, you will be looking very pretty in these scenes,”

tell that she is good at her job. But it’s hard to believe that she is an intelligent lawyer when her best comeback to work place harassment is “In your dreams” or when she asks the channel’s head if he is watching the live murder streaming across his channels.

Ruining two songs, and two live streaming of murders later, Wajah Tum Ho has successfully managed to keep me engaged through its first half. I have a feeling who is the murderer behind the mask. Let’s see if I am right when the second half unfolds.”

A few days ago, we had reported how Vishal had organised a special screening for professional hackers to get their feedback on the film. One of the hackers, on condition of anonymity, said, “After watching the movie, I felt their research was perfect. The film, which is an edge-of-the-seat thriller with twists and turns, shows the pros and cons of hacking. It will keep you guessing who the actual culprit is.”

Gurmeet said: “Yes, we took a collective decision om Monday night to postpone the release of ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ from December 2 to December 16. The main reason is the demonetisation. It has had a crippling effect on the middle-class’ buying power. They have no money to see movies at the moment.”

How do the producers of the Vishal Pandya directorial expect the situation to improve in two weeks?

Gurmeet said: “We have full faith in our product. We saw the film the other evening and decided we have a winning product on our hands. We will pump up the marketing and promotion for two extra weeks to make the film even more viewer-friendly. By then the Indian middle class’s monetary situation would also improve.”
