The Mumbai University, on Friday evening said that results of TYBCom examination will be delayed by two weeks. The results will now be declared on June 24.
The Mumbai University, on Friday, June 10 evening, said that the results of TYBCom examination will be delayed by two weeks and the results will now be declared on June 24.
Reason for the delay as given by COE, Mumbai University:
Deepak Wasave, COE, Mumbai University said, “The aim was to finish assessment of papers and announce the results. However, some answer sheets are yet to be assessed. Instead of hurrying the moderators to finish their work, we chose to give them more time and postpone the declaration of results by some days,” adding that three subjects, including the Financial Management papers, are yet to be assessed.
Students unable to access results:
Anxiety levels rose on Friday as the students were unable to access the result on the website. “We kept checking the website all through the day, only to find out through messages on social media that the result declaration has been postponed. The university website was inaccessible until Friday evening,” said Anjali Choudhury.
What college principals have to say:
Regarding the delay of results, the college principals said that it should not affect the future of the students. “Most of the post-graduate programmes start only in August. So long as the university manages to declare results before June-end, students have nothing to worry about,” said Indu Shahani, principal of HR College, Churchgate.
TYBSc result date:
On Thursday, the third year Bachelor in mass media results were declared and the TYBSC results for semester V students were announced on Friday evening. “We will try and announce the TYBSc semester VI results in a day or two. Almost all other courses’ results should be declared soon enough,” Wasave told HT.
